Dr. Kazi Abdul Mannan has completed Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and awarded Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) from National Board of Revenue (NBR), thus become a member of Dhaka Taxes Bar Association since 1992. Subsequently was engaged consultancy service in corporate sectors specially formation, merger, amalgamation, dissolution, finance and taxation for individual and corporate clients. He has also worked in public sectors such as Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) for duty draw back from state owned financial institutes since 1994. At the same time he has completed Masters of Commerce (Marketing) in 1993 and Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from University of Dhaka and subsequently become a member of Dhaka Bar Association as an advocate that has provided him opportunities to work on Bangladeshi skilled and professional migrants to worldwide collaborating with global migration professional and experts as well as victim migrants in Bangladesh and also destination countries. He has completed Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Southern Cross University, Faculty of Business and Law, Australia, his research title is “Determinants and socioeconomic impacts of migrant remittances: A study of rural Bangladeshi migrants in Italy”.
In 2003, He was engaged as an international consultant of few international commercial organizations in Malaysia where he has jointly worked with MAKRO, TESCO and other multinational hyper and super markets in terms of labour market research in the service sectors. He has worked on behalf of Bangladeshi migrants in Malaysia especially legal and arbitration issues which leads to participate international conferences mainly migration perspectives. Moreover, he was as a country partner for Bangladesh of World Bank doing business research project in the year of 2005 and 2007.
He has presented his research work in international professional (legal) and academic (Economic and business) conferences. Today, his twenty-eight years working, academic and professional life stand him as a lawyer and researcher (legal, business and social) especially for model building, model testing, theory development and theory testing in qualitative and quantitative research which can be provided guideline for policy maker, stakeholders and future research. He has visited more than thirty countries including Asia, Europe, USA and Australia.
